Do you believe that it is never too late to learn something new? I am living proof of that. As a woman and mother of two sons, four grandchildren and with my husband's support, I decided to begin another adventure. My goal was not only to start a new business venture but to inspire women's creativity and imagination. This would be achieved by whetting their appetite with the ambition of captivating them into the mesmerising world of textiles, hand embroidery and embellishments.

About Us

August Atelier was created by Jacqueline Kennedy, a Heritage Interior Designer with a passion for hand embroidery and creating custom embellishments for fashion and household items. One of my favourite design periods is the Georgian and Regency fashion design eras, utilising them in my designs. The image above shows a Regency-style robe with ribbon embroidery on taffeta fabric, which is attached halfway around the linen fabric.

I aim to inspire others to enhance their wardrobes by celebrating the artistry and creativity of high-end fashion and household accessories. We aim to provide a service, working with clients to create their own designs, enabling individuals to express their unique style in the most sophisticated way possible.
